ManageSoft, The Software Management Company™, today announced its customer, Lend Lease Corporation Limited (ASX: LLC), was selected as an InfoWorld 100 award winner for its use of ManageSoft’s solution as part of its innovative IT initiative called project highRISE. The annual awards honor companies that demonstrate the most creative use of cutting-edge technologies to further their business goals. Winning companies and associated solutions were chosen for their ability to stretch beyond the typical, off-the-shelf solution, using multiple technologies in innovative ways to serve well-defined business goals.

“As one of the world’s leading real estate services companies, we needed a software management solution that could tackle our complex desktop and IT asset management needs on a global scale,” said John Miles, chief security officer for Lend Lease. “ManageSoft was able to build business intelligence into each managed desktop, server and mobile computer throughout the organization, laying the foundation that supports project highRISE as Lend Lease extended the boundaries of its worldwide business.”

As part of project highRISE, ManageSoft’s solution delivers intelligent, automated analysis to managed desktops, servers and mobile computers. This enables 10,000 devices in more than 40 countries on five continents worldwide to dynamically adapt and self-heal, to respond to changes and comply with centrally-defined IT policies. The ManageSoft IT Business Intelligence (ITBI) solution’s executive analysis and reporting features, as well as ManageSoft’s overall ability to scale to a global environment also played a major role in the project.

“We are pleased and honored to share in this recognition from a widely-read, industry leading publication like InfoWorld,” said Walter Elliot, CEO for ManageSoft. “This award is a testament to our customers’ ability to utilize ManageSoft’s technology to meet core business objectives and achieve fast and measurable ROI, and provides further independent validation on the success of IT projects employing a ManageSoft solution.”

“This year, InfoWorld honors a host of innovative projects that highlight the resourcefulness of the IT community,” said Eric Knorr, InfoWorld senior features editor. “IT departments have learned hard lessons about business realities and realistic ROI. The InfoWorld 100 provides a forum for IT managers to get the recognition they deserve for smart projects from an audience of their peers.”

The ManageSoft suite enables IT organizations to automatically deploy, update and manage business critical applications for fixed and mobile computers located anywhere in the world. Unlike server-centric products that introduce critical-points-of-failure into an enterprise IT infrastructure, the ManageSoft smart agent architecture enables managed devices to dynamically adapt to changes in the IT environment through its policy-based management. A modular, integrated solution, ManageSoft includes the necessary building blocks to enable companies to transform computers into self-managing devices, allowing organizations to choose the functionality they need now and add capabilities over time.
