General
The Marketing Communications Manager is tasked to develop and launch differentiating communication programs. These programs must reach our target customer and partner base specifically for lead generation and brand awareness. The position is located in the ManageSoft offices located in Boston and reports to our Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, based in Boston.
This Marketing Communications Manager needs to demonstrate the ability to manage and contribute to multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, including but not limited to: website content, marketing collateral, newsletters, white papers, success stories, events, press briefings, article placements, and consistent messages across print and electronic media.
Education
The position requires that candidates have at least 5 years of related marketing experience with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Communications (or equivalent experience). Excellent writing skills are required and experience with marketing tools and related knowledge is highly valued including:
- Dreamweaver, HTML, XHTML, CSS
- Salesforce.com or similar
- eMail Marketing Campaigns
- Google Analytics
Planning
Collaborate on marketing strategy and manage the associated marketing budget.
Develop and execute a go-to-market blueprint that is aligned with the Sales teams’ objectives.
Participate in regular meetings with the Marketing group to leverage communication and resources across the globe.
Execution
Develop and maintain content for the company website.
Use the latest in sales force and marketing automation tools that have been adopted by the company.
Develop promotions and messaging for outbound marketing including website, webinars, news releases, success stories, and tradeshows.
Professionally express the company’s value proposition to customers and partners based on training, experience and product knowledge.
Support corporate PR efforts by drafting news release and case study content; develop press relationships that lead to key article placements.
