Gwinnett County Public Schools
Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS), the largest school system in the state of Georgia and twentieth largest in the United States. GCPS use ManageSoft for automated software and security patch management. ManageSoft teamed with IBM Global Services to provide GCPS with a complete, client-centric software management solution for managing and updating thousands of computers and applications across 104 schools in the district. In addition, GCPS looked to ManageSoft for its security patch management solution for protection against the crippling effects of computer viruses and worms. The ManageSoft solution enables IT managers at Gwinnett County Public Schools to automatically upgrade, deploy, and manage operating systems, hardware and software assets for its more than 40,000 PCs, laptops and mobile devices from one central interface, saving on licensing, IT resource and support costs. ManageSoft Security Patch Management is used to maintain security patch and anti-virus software to protect the school district's student computers from cyber viruses and worms.
