ManageSoft® joins Microsoft® and other industry leaders in the SecureIT Alliance

Initiative unites key industry leaders to bring innovative security solutions to market

December 12, 2005 Boston, MA, USA

ManageSoft®, a leading, privately held provider of intelligent solutions to help enterprises deploy, secure, and manage their client software and computing infrastructures, today announced it has joined the SecureIT Alliance, a Microsoft-led initiative to promote customer-driven, innovative security solutions.

The SecureIT Alliance is a community of industry partners working to provide security solutions for the Microsoft platform. SecureIT Alliance members are collaborating to build innovative new security features and products to address the needs of the industry and of mutual customers. Through well-designed models for interoperability, the alliance aims to enable makers of enterprise-class IT security solutions to achieve better product integration to simplify customer implementations.

Microsoft is developing a community site for the Alliance - www.SecureITAlliance.org - to facilitate these collaborations and provide early access to technical information, beta versions, software development kits, and other tools to help them build products that support future iterations of the Microsoft platform.

"We are delighted to be in the select company of the respected members of the SecureIT Alliance," said Walter J. Elliot, chief executive officer of ManageSoft.
