Founded by George Adams in 1881, Tattersalls has grown to become Australia's largest privately owned company and a leader in the nation's gaming and entertainment industry with an internationally acclaimed lottery and gaming business spanning three centuries. The company's lottery network consists of 900 retail outlets which employs about 3,000 Australians in small business. Tattersalls gaming network of 270 hotels and clubs employs directly or indirectly an estimated 13,000 people in catering, maintenance, business management, computer technology, advertising, marketing, accounting, bar service and sales.

Tattersalls was looking to roll out its new Standard Operating Environment (SOE) across all of its systems.
